1 month
I can't believe it, Bella is 1 month old today.
Val told me that her friend took a picture of her son once a month in the same chair to see how the little monster grew over time. I going to try and remember to do the same.
We had a little mini-celebration with a little mini-cupcake. I ate it for Bella to enjoy later:)

3 week check up
In the great state of Maine, every new family gets a home visit from a state nurse. Our nurse Pam took her numbers: height, weight and head size are all in the 75%. My little nugget is growing strong.

cousins
Just in time for valentine's day, a visit from the Lohse Family. Eric and Sophia got to meet their cousin Bella. Eric was excited to hold her after he thought she was in his belly for the last 9 months.

my first dress
Since she is growing like a weed I got to get all her newborn clothes on her asap before she outgrows it all. I figure this is the first and last time I'm going to get this dress on her. Isn't she cute!!

bella bear
Matty's favorite nickname for Bella is Bella Bear. It's especially cute when she's wearing little bear clothes such as this.
bath time
Bella had a milestone today - her first real bath. The whole family got involved even Rubbles. She loved the warm water and I love how she smells.

gramma and grampa d
We are so fortunate to have my parents with us for a few weeks. It's great to see our little nugget bond with them. They are just as smitten with her as we are. There is talk of getting her a "pony" which is a little scary. I wouldn't be so concerned if they didn't previously buy my husband a cow:)Not only is my daughter in good care - my house is clean and all those little and not so little projects around the house are getting done. I'll be sure to update syddesigns with all their projects.
