facetime

I love technology. I love it for so many reasons. I love it because it keeps me employed at a great company that allows me to work from home which allows me to spend more time with my family. I love it because its super awesome and the internet is "all around us" but I love it more and more with each new advancement.

Google blogger - where I share our family stories like this one
Facetime.... I love you the most...

Facetime is the vehicle in which I can have breakfast with my niece and nephew in China for free. And for the moments like above. Bella drinking cocoa waiting to talk and see Gramma D (doma D) and Grampa Dar (Boppy).

So this Christmas I am thankful that even though I'm far away from those I love, I still feel like my family is "all around us" just like technology.

santa wears LLBean boots

The following is commentary on what is going on inside my kid's heads:

Bella: Who's the dude in the sweet red convertable?

Bella: Holy crap - where's the adults? Somebody tell me if that's really Santa!

Bella: Hey man, show some identifcation that you are really Santa. Yup, I see the bells. You're clear to enter.

Bella: Just let me know when you are ready, I'll wait patiently till I get the go ahead to present my Christmas demands.

Bella: So my grampa Dar has these things called 4-wheelers ....

Bella: Hmm, what else do I want?

Bella: Santa, let me introduce you to Charlie. He's new this year.
Charlie: What the hell? Where"s that milk lady???

Bella: I'm glad we are cool Santa, Now tell your Little Stevie elf to go away.
Charlie: So you are this Santa Bella has been talking about. Here are my demands - I like milk, lots of it...
