Thanks to Mike and Maggie for hosting a Clark get together this past weekend. It was so much fun to hang out and have Bella meet folks. We especially loved story time with everyone taking a turn to read her stories. Auntie Maggie read "Guess How Much I Love You" Uncle Mike read "Tuesday" (an awesome book) and Uncle Brian read "There is a Monster at the End of this Book." Auntie Jessi and Uncle Rick helped say prayers. Definitely my high for the weekend.

Once upon a time (after Easter when everything Easter was 75% off) there were 4 bunnies: Purple 1, Purple 2, Blue and Pink.

Also at this time there was a recovering black lab named Rubbles who needed some friends to play with.

The bunnies were a little unsure of the situation.

Lesson learned... always trust your instincts.

sleeping beauty

I'm becoming very nostalgic as my maternity leave comes to an end. This morning after I put Bells down for her morning nap I turned around to see the sun shinning on her in her bassinet. I just thought it had to be the most beautiful thing in the world. It won't be much longer before I'm back at work and she's too big for her bassinet. It's the little mommy moments like this that you have to capture.

We had a big day today, vaccine day. She handled it like a champ and got the snoopy and tweetie bird band-aids to prove it.

gardening

Today is a beautiful day out and (being Spree Day at Clark) we decided to hit up the outdoors. Bella hung out and took a snoozer in the chair while Rubbles ate a bone and I weeded a flower bed. Good kids today!

2 months 19 days

We had another nurse visit today and our little Bella continues to grow so big.

weight: 12 lbs 8 oz

height: 23 1/2 inches

head: 16 1/8

She is still tracking against the 75% for all. The nurse was especially thrilled with with her vocal skills. She is an over achiever in the gabbing department. Oh man... this could be interesting.

Grampie cheese turned down his hot tub so little Bella could go swimming. She LOVED it. She is going to be a natural in the pool.

Thanks cousin Pia for letting Bella borrow the tiny bitiny! Daddy allowed it because we were in a private pool:)

One of my favorite childhood Easter traditions is hiding the Easter baskets. I look forward to watching people hunt for them every year. I use to go easy on folks but now I make them work for their chocolate bunnies.

baby yoga

The Bells and I go to yoga every Friday. This past week the local news station came by to do a story on our class. It should air in a few weeks. I'll be sure to dvr it. Bella likes her yoga outfit she got from Gramma D for Easter. Now her and Cuz P have matching outfits.

hugs is the best medicine

Our little Rubbietron is on the mend. Everyday he's a little bit better. This morning he army crawled over to where Bella was hanging out and he didn't stop until she had her paw on his head. They are in this together.
